You will also see when the mouse aero bring on green lock symbol and clicked on it. They will show “secure connection” below the lock symbol.

If you are mobile user then you can also see left corner on the top of any website.

First you should to know the basic knowledge about HTTP and HTTPS.

HTTP is a request response protocol to communicate between client and server.

For example:

·         you are client because you demand information by the web server.

·         Those provide the service (like html, audio and files etc ) to  the client is called server.

These are communicate between client and server through coding message.

HTTP send the request to the server when server gets the request, it reply the information from source with coding.

HTTP is less secure because it is not encrypted.

On the other hand,

HTTPS is also request response protocol to communicate between client and server.

It is more secure because it is encrypted by SSL(SECURE SOCKET LAYER) certificate.

Here, Encrypted means the sender and recipient agree upon a code.

What is SSL certificate?

SSL(SECURE SOCKET LAYER) allow to all sensitive information like Social Security Number, Credit Cards Number, Login and sign up passwords and email to be transmitted securely.

If you don’t use SSL in your website then attackers are able to intercept all data being sent between client and server, they can easily see and use this information.

So, Can I let you understand the basic knowledge about HTTP, HTTPS and SSL.

HTTP   ➡  HYPER TEXT TRANSFER PROTOCOL
HTTPS   ➡   HYPER TEXT TRANSFER PROTOCOL SECURE( SSL AND TLS)

When you used HTTPS, no anyone steal your personal information and other sensitive information.

they only understand who are sender and recipient, so no any can read between them.

Any sites which connection will be HTTP, there are more chances to hacked by the attackers. Here, man in middle attack on the site and steal all messages.

When two parties communicate with each other, they think that we are talking privately on site but attacker secretly involve in communication.

If you want learn more about man in the middle attack then you can this read article on man in the middle attack.

You should go to these sites which secure by HTTPS and you can also give email id and other general message.

When I visit any sites on internet, i am always see the lock green symbol to the left corner on the top  and then take decision should to share personal information or not.

Otherwise, I don’t share any information on the sites.

I am using Blogspot now which is free service provide by Google and they give the features to enable HTTPS.
